So I've been enjoying the Not Me Monday posts from this blog for quite some time now, never really feeling like I had much to contribute. Well, consider this my initiation.
Here it goes:
First off, I did NOT start a load of laundry at 10 am and then forget about it until almost 11 pm, having never even moved it to the dryer. That would be gross. This incident did NOT lead to a mini-argument with my husband over whether or not he is grateful enough that I do all the laundry around here. Nope. Certainly not.
Also, I most definitely did NOT take my child into the eye doctor's office with me, knowing full well that he had a very dirty diaper but choosing to leave the diaper bag in the car anyway. And there is NO WAY that I decided it would be easier to change said diaper in the backseat of the car rather than going back into the office to do it.
And this absolutely did NOT turn out to be the second major diaper blowout we'd had in as many weeks. Nope. My child's poop always stays in the confines of his diaper. Oh yeah, and this incident also did NOT coincide with the trip out where I forgot to have a change of clothes in his diaper bag. No way. I am the type of mother who is always on top of things and would never do that. I would also never come this close to letting Hudson take the 20 minute ride home in nothing but a diaper, but then at the last minute decided he was better off in his poop-covered clothes. Certainly not.
I also definitely did NOT hear him pooping in his car seat again a mere 4 days later, only to discover that I had no diapers with me. Nope. Not me. Like I said, I am always on top of things as a mother. I also did NOT almost cry tears of joy when I learned that my mother-in-law in fact had diapers at her house and I would get to have an afternoon to myself after all, rather than driving back home to get and change a diaper. Not me!

Welcome to the NMM Club! I would never leave laundry all day either. Sorry about all of the yucky diapers this week! Yikes!
So glad to know someone else's life goes like this... I mean NOT like this... because I NEVER have laundry and poop incidents either.
Welcome welcome welcome to Not Me! It's so therapeutic, isn't it?! You have started with a bang- what amazing not mes. I so feel our pain- laundry woes like that happen to me all the time and when my little guy was Hudson's age- I remember being caught plenty of times without a clean diaper!
Very enjoyable! Thanks for providing another blogger to stalk.. her pictures are amazing!
wv: prety. Hudson's diaper was NOT prety..
